Home Euthanasia Services For a Peaceful Farewell
Firstly, let me tell you how sorry I am that you’re here and have to make this decision. Saying goodbye to a beloved dog or cat is one of the most heartbreaking moments we have to face. This is because the bonds we have with our furry friends are so strong that the idea of losing them can be too much to bear.
However, when they become older, or when illnesses or injuries take their toll, you can see their quality of life start to decline. Once this happens, offering them a peaceful way to say goodbye is the greatest act of love you can give them.
This is where home euthanasia services like ours at The Loving Vet can come in. We’re a mobile pet euthanasia service based in Newton-le-Willows covering the North West and surrounding areas such as Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Warrington and Leeds. We offer a warm alternative to the cold setting of a clinic.
Understanding Home Euthanasia
Offering the most empathy for pets and their families is at the core of my services, as I fully understand how vital comfort is at a vulnerable time like this. So, by choosing my service, I can put your dog to sleep at home or provide at-home cat euthanasia so they can spend their final moments in a familiar, peaceful setting with loved ones surrounding them. They also won’t have the stress of travelling or being in a place which is distressing to them.
The Procedure of My Service Which Offers You a Gentle Goodbye
As a qualified veterinary surgeon (listed in the RCVS register as Benite Oddy), I have the utmost care and respect for your pet’s comfort at the forefront of my mind during the procedure. I will begin by dispensing a sedative to your pet to make sure they’re relaxed and feeling no pain. This ensures there’s a peaceful transition before the final euthanasia solution is gently provided. As I am taking these steps, I will provide support and reassurance to everyone present to make sure that the serene passing of your pet is dignified.
Why Familiar Surroundings Are Vital
The importance of this can’t be overstated, as pets are very sensitive to their environment. So, making sure their final moments take place in the comfort of their home, where they feel safe and happy, gives them a real sense of security. It also makes it possible for all of the family and loved ones to be on hand to provide comfort and get the same in return. This shared experience can offer a very real form of comfort and closure to everyone present.
Providing The Right Support For Every Owner
My service goes beyond just taking physical care of your pet. I recognise the deep emotional impact that this scenario has on people, and in turn, I will offer care that is right for each and every household, who all have their own personal grief. I can offer guidance on coping mechanisms, ways you can memorialise your pet, and anything else to make the process easier.
A Tribute That Lasts
Opting for my at-home pet euthanasia service also gives you the chance to create a touching tribute to your little loved one. Often, families like to hold a small ceremony that reflects on their pet’s life and the memories they shared with them. This can be a way to console your feelings for them and celebrate the joy they brought to your life.

Helping You To Make An Informed Decision
Deciding that the time is right to say goodbye to your loved one is a very personal choice that needs some careful thought. To assist with this, we’re here to provide you with information and answer any questions via messaging prior to my visit. I believe in always communicating with clients thoroughly and being transparent so their worries and anxiety are eased through this difficult time. This helps you to make the choices that are best for you.
A Compassionate Choice
When you choose to say goodbye to your beloved at home you’re making an empathetic decision to say goodbye to your loved one in a way which puts their comfort first. It gives you the chance to part with them in a loving place surrounded by the people who care the most for them and gives them and you the most dignified farewell.
By going down this path at the end of the final chapter of their life, you can grant them a gentle passage. One where they can not feel any fear or pain and can part ways with you while being surrounded by the people they cherish the most. It’s a profound gift of peace that reflects the depth of your bond and the unwavering love you’ve shared.
If you’re currently finding yourself in this difficult situation you can contact me today and I will get back to you as soon as possible to give you help in making things easier.

We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved fur baby, Kasper, and have him put to sleep. It was one of the most difficult decisions we have ever had to make, but Bee and her team made the entire process so much easier than we could have imagined. From our very first contact, Bee and her team were kind, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. They were easy to reach whenever we had questions and guided us through every step with genuine care and understanding. During such an emotional and painful time, their professionalism and empathy made all the difference. Every member of the team we encountered treated both us and Kasper with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. They truly cared, and that was evident in everything they did. Knowing that Kasper was in such caring hands brought us a great deal of comfort. We are so grateful for the thoughtful touches, especially the nose and paw print, which we will treasure forever. It was such a meaningful gesture and brought comfort during a very difficult time. We cannot thank Bee and her wonderful team enough for helping us through this heartbreaking experience. Their kindness and compassion will never be forgotten, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing a similar situation. Forever grateful. I cannot thank Bee and Jordan enough for their care and compassion during one of the worst times of our lives. Our little Poppy instantly loved Bee, she was drawn to her as soon as she walked into our living room. Bee talked us through every step and reassured us throughout the whole process. Poppy passed so peacefully. She didn't panic, she never felt pain. Bee explained that the opioids she gave Poppy will help her drift into a deep sleep, give her lovely dreams and she will be a puppy again. It gave us such comfort and still does. It was truly the most beautiful passing. As heartbroken as we are, knowing that she left this world in my arms, in the comfort of her home with no stress, means everything. Bee even made sure I took photos of her paw and nose to get prints from them. Thank you so much for giving Poppy the kindness she deserved. You are both wonderful ❤️Posted on Elaine Hall2 June 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted the loving vet (bee & jordan) when it was time to ket our okd lady go over to the rainbow bridge x From the very first contact Jordan was so caring and explained everything regarding what to expect, pricing etc. And what time and day i woukd like to book in . Once booked in i received a confirmation message to say it was confirmed. On the day I recieved a message to say Bee was on her way and an eta. When Bee arrived she got to know my old lady first and again explained everything to us. Not once did we feel rushed through the whole time and everything was done with so much love and care. After the procedure Bee laid our dog out in a beautiful basket , with candles and flowers which was very respectful and had a lovely space in the car fir her to rest. Again we were never rushed to say our final goodbyes. After they left we later received paw and nose prints and a lovely poem . I cant thank Bee and Jordan enough for helping ease a very difficult time and woukd highly recommend the loving vet to anyone looking for this service.Posted on Natalie Stalmach2 June 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We knew our Wilson was ill, and he was gradually coming to the end of his life. We didn’t want him to suffer, but we didn’t want to euthanise him unnecessarily, as he kept bouncing back. The last two days he deteriorated quickly and I was messaging Jordan for advice and he responded promptly and compassionately every time. In the end, I’m so grateful that Bee could come out at such short notice and assist Wilson in his peaceful passing. Bee was an absolutely lovely person. She was caring, compassionate and talked us through step by step what she was doing and what to expect. Couldn’t have asked for a better send off for our Wilson. Thank you Bee and Jordan for everything.Load more
