Home Euthanasia Services For a Peaceful Farewell
Understanding Home Euthanasia
Offering the most empathy for pets and their families is at the core of my services, as I fully understand how vital comfort is at a vulnerable time like this. So, by choosing my service, I can put your dog to sleep at home or provide at-home cat euthanasia so they can spend their final moments in a familiar, peaceful setting with loved ones surrounding them. They also won’t have the stress of travelling or being in a place which is distressing to them. The Procedure of My Service Which Offers You a Gentle Goodbye
As a qualified veterinary surgeon (listed in the RCVS register as Benite Oddy), I have the utmost care and respect for your pet’s comfort at the forefront of my mind during the procedure. I will begin by dispensing a sedative to your pet to make sure they’re relaxed and feeling no pain. This ensures there’s a peaceful transition before the final euthanasia solution is gently provided. As I am taking these steps, I will provide support and reassurance to everyone present to make sure that the serene passing of your pet is dignified. Why Familiar Surroundings Are Vital
The importance of this can’t be overstated, as pets are very sensitive to their environment. So, making sure their final moments take place in the comfort of their home, where they feel safe and happy, gives them a real sense of security. It also makes it possible for all of the family and loved ones to be on hand to provide comfort and get the same in return. This shared experience can offer a very real form of comfort and closure to everyone present.Providing The Right Support For Every Owner
My service goes beyond just taking physical care of your pet. I recognise the deep emotional impact that this scenario has on people, and in turn, I will offer care that is right for each and every household, who all have their own personal grief. I can offer guidance on coping mechanisms, ways you can memorialise your pet, and anything else to make the process easier.A Tribute That Lasts
Opting for my at-home pet euthanasia service also gives you the chance to create a touching tribute to your little loved one. Often, families like to hold a small ceremony that reflects on their pet’s life and the memories they shared with them. This can be a way to console your feelings for them and celebrate the joy they brought to your life.

Last Friday we had to make the heartbreaking decision to make enquiries to have our lovely Dutch put to sleep. Jordan was very helpful, informative, and compassionate. He helped my husband arrange what was a very hard thing for us to do, a lot less stressful. Bee came to our house on Tuesday evening as arranged. Bee was lovely, kind, compassionate and empathetic. She helped make such a hard thing for us as a family to do, a lot easier. Bee talked us through everything at each stage and didn’t rush us. Everything was done when we were ready. We got what we wanted, Dutch to pass over the rainbow bridge, in his own familiar surroundings, with the people that loved him around him. Thank you Bee and Jordan for all your help and understanding.Posted on sarola22 January 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sam, an eighteen-year-old lurcher ex RSPCA. Lived on Narrowboat for twelve years, then onshore for three. The time to go was right, and we emailed The Loving Vet, asking about the process, emailed back within minutes, accepted and booked for next day. Bee was lovely, Sam was asleep after two sausage rolls for his dinner, and did not know anything. No stress, no worry, no more pain for him, only we that are left that will miss him forever.Posted on Brooke Boylan21 January 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bee was so kind and attentive to our beautiful girl boo, making the decision to lay her to rest was the hardest thing we’ve ever done but Bee made what was easily our worst day as a family that little bit easier and we can’t thank her enough- Boo was very calm during the whole process and simply fell asleep surrounded by those who loved her, we miss her beyond measure but it’s nice to know she left this world in her favourite spot on the couch feeling so so loved 💔Posted on Pauline Richardson19 January 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn't easily get my old dog to the vets when his time came, he hated the car, l would have struggled to lift him in and the vets was always a challenge for him due to fear aggression, it would have been traumatic. Also, I wanted his pack mate to understand that he'd gone so that he didn't pine. The service delivered was second to none, arranged quickly and efficiently at my convenience. The vet was calm and kind, my boy didn't get stressed at all and passed quickly and quietly, a blessing. I ordered the basic package and it was worth every penny.Posted on steve martin11 January 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our baby Pepper sadly had to be put to sleep and it was a really difficult heartbreaking time to deal with especially since she was our first pet, but Bee and Jordan honestly were so extremely delicate, understanding and comforting in this extremely heartbreaking time. Bee made sure we knew everything that was going on and did everything in our own time, she was so gentle with her and even spoke softly which helped so much with the family and Pepper herself. And little Pepper went out so peacefully and quietly which is all she deserved. Putting a pet to sleep is one of the worst days of your life but with The Loving Vet it was easier to let her go knowing it’s in the most painless, kindest and caring place they could be in. Thank you Bee for doing gods work and allowing our baby Pepper to slip into her forever sleep surrounded by nothing but love and care. And thank you Jordan for being so supportive and responsive when speaking prior to the appointment, I knew she was going to be in good hands after talking to Jordan because they was so understanding and open to any questions I had and all responses were very detailed and kindhearted which was so comforting and clear. Our family and Pepper cannot thank you enough for the amazing service you brought us in such a dark and difficult time. We made the difficult decision to end our 16 year old girl Tink’s suffering on Boxing Day. I messaged the WhatsApp number on The Loving Vet website and received a very quick reply even though it was Boxing Day evening. Jordan was amazing answeringuu all of my questions and helped us book a visit from Bee for the following day. We made the arrangements for Tink’s cremation too at the same time. When the time came, Bee arrived promptly and she was so caring and empathetic to our situation and informed us that we had timed ending Tink’s suffering just right. She even answered lots of questions from my nine year old daughter who wants to be a vet when she’s older. Tink passed away so peacefully, we couldn’t have wished for a more peaceful passing for her. Bee was so professional and kind throughout the whole visit and it meant so much to us all to be able to be with Tink as she passed over in her own home. And as the cremation details had already been taken care of we didn’t need to worry about that next step. Thank you Bee and Jordan for giving our girl the peaceful and dignified passing she deserved and for being there so kindly for our family. The Loving Vet is highly recommended by us and we can’t thank them enough. We lost our beautiful Ridgeback Boy Coppa the day before Christmas Eve. Bee was very patient with me whist I was trying to make the hardest decision I've ever had to make. From the moment she arrived I knew I'd done the right thing. Bee was so kind, patient and calm. She lovingly helped my big lad on his final journey. He peacefully went to sleep in front of the fire where he loved to lie. He's now at peace with his Grandad looking after him. Thank you so much Bee, and Jordan also for your help and understanding.Posted on Selina Helliwell26 December 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At a very distressing time, Bee was lovely and professional. Very warm and considerate. A horrible decision to have to make but she helped our old boy slip away in the most peaceful way.
