Home Euthanasia Services For a Peaceful Farewell
Firstly, let me tell you how sorry I am that you’re here and have to make this decision. Saying goodbye to a beloved dog or cat is one of the most heartbreaking moments we have to face. This is because the bonds we have with our furry friends are so strong that the idea of losing them can be too much to bear.
However, when they become older, or when illnesses or injuries take their toll, you can see their quality of life start to decline. Once this happens, offering them a peaceful way to say goodbye is the greatest act of love you can give them.
This is where home euthanasia services like ours at The Loving Vet can come in. We’re a mobile pet euthanasia service based in Newton-le-Willows covering the North West and surrounding areas such as Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Warrington and Leeds. We offer a warm alternative to the cold setting of a clinic.
Understanding Home Euthanasia
Offering the most empathy for pets and their families is at the core of my services, as I fully understand how vital comfort is at a vulnerable time like this. So, by choosing my service, I can put your dog to sleep at home or provide at-home cat euthanasia so they can spend their final moments in a familiar, peaceful setting with loved ones surrounding them. They also won’t have the stress of travelling or being in a place which is distressing to them.
The Procedure of My Service Which Offers You a Gentle Goodbye
As a qualified veterinary surgeon (listed in the RCVS register as Benite Oddy), I have the utmost care and respect for your pet’s comfort at the forefront of my mind during the procedure. I will begin by dispensing a sedative to your pet to make sure they’re relaxed and feeling no pain. This ensures there’s a peaceful transition before the final euthanasia solution is gently provided. As I am taking these steps, I will provide support and reassurance to everyone present to make sure that the serene passing of your pet is dignified.
Why Familiar Surroundings Are Vital
The importance of this can’t be overstated, as pets are very sensitive to their environment. So, making sure their final moments take place in the comfort of their home, where they feel safe and happy, gives them a real sense of security. It also makes it possible for all of the family and loved ones to be on hand to provide comfort and get the same in return. This shared experience can offer a very real form of comfort and closure to everyone present.
Providing The Right Support For Every Owner
My service goes beyond just taking physical care of your pet. I recognise the deep emotional impact that this scenario has on people, and in turn, I will offer care that is right for each and every household, who all have their own personal grief. I can offer guidance on coping mechanisms, ways you can memorialise your pet, and anything else to make the process easier.
A Tribute That Lasts
Opting for my at-home pet euthanasia service also gives you the chance to create a touching tribute to your little loved one. Often, families like to hold a small ceremony that reflects on their pet’s life and the memories they shared with them. This can be a way to console your feelings for them and celebrate the joy they brought to your life.

Helping You To Make An Informed Decision
Deciding that the time is right to say goodbye to your loved one is a very personal choice that needs some careful thought. To assist with this, we’re here to provide you with information and answer any questions via messaging prior to my visit. I believe in always communicating with clients thoroughly and being transparent so their worries and anxiety are eased through this difficult time. This helps you to make the choices that are best for you.
A Compassionate Choice
When you choose to say goodbye to your beloved at home you’re making an empathetic decision to say goodbye to your loved one in a way which puts their comfort first. It gives you the chance to part with them in a loving place surrounded by the people who care the most for them and gives them and you the most dignified farewell.
By going down this path at the end of the final chapter of their life, you can grant them a gentle passage. One where they can not feel any fear or pain and can part ways with you while being surrounded by the people they cherish the most. It’s a profound gift of peace that reflects the depth of your bond and the unwavering love you’ve shared.
If you’re currently finding yourself in this difficult situation you can contact me today and I will get back to you as soon as possible to give you help in making things easier.

I don't think our lovely dog, Dusty, could have wished for a more gentle and dignified ending. Dusty was a very much loved part of our family and it was incredibly hard to say goodbye to her. We are so grateful for everything The Loving Vet did to make that more bearable. ❤️Posted on Angela McQ14 May 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I honestly couldn't recommend Bee, Jordan and The Loving Vet enough. From the very 1st contact I made they have shown nothing but warmth and compassion. Bee came out to euthanise my 17 1/2 year old cat Nando, my first baby and the love she shown him was unmatched. She took her time with us, explained everything thoroughly and he passed how I always imagined he would, surrounded by love and with dignity. The little touches afterwards was so special to us and I knew instantly she would take care of my darling boy. Thank you so much Bee and Jordan, you made an extremely hard decision that little bit easier and reassured me that I was making the right decision xxPosted on Zoey Morgan2 May 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our princess, Jasmine, had such a beautiful send off, surrounded by love and it was so peaceful, relaxed and calm. The care and attention to detail was really appreciated. We can’t thank Bee enough. We were really worried about upsetting our girl but she looked so peaceful and although upsetting Bee explained everything to us with such sensitivity and she really cared. Thank you BeePosted on Dawn2 May 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 11th November 2025 we made the decision to have Daisy our 12 year old labrador put to sleep. She was in a lot of pain and she was uncomfortable. Bee was comforting & reassured us that Daisy would not suffer anymore. Daisy waggeled her tail right up to the end of her life. Bee talked us through the whole process. Daisy went peacefully. We got to say our last goodbyes. 23rd April 2026 A made arrangements with Jordan, (Bee's Assistant) through The Loving vet website. He was very sympathetic especially knowing that we only had a other dog put to sleep in November. I had to make the decision to have my 11 year old little pug Archie put to sleep. Bee greeted us at our front door. She is a lovely caring person and very professional at job she does. She made Archie comfortable by giving him a sedative. Bee put Archie on my lap with the puppy pads in place. My Archie had taken his last breath passed away in my arms before Bee managed to give him the euthanasia. Bee checked Archie over and confirmed that he had passed away. I was heartbroken. 💔 Once Bee checked him she gave him a little euthanasia in his umbilical area. This gave provided peace for my mind. Bee & my husband lay Archie in his little coffin that I had bought for him. Bee made sure that he was wrapped nicely & discreetly in his blanket. I'll be forever grateful for the caring and professional service that you have provided. Thank you Jordan. Thank you Bee. We recently made the heartbreaking decision to have our boy put to sleep. I knew I didnt want to take him to a clinical setting that would distress him so I found The Loving vet via Internet search and reached out. Jordan deals with all enquiries and is professional, yet empathetic and so helpful. Bee cane out to our home and showed my boy nothing but respect, love and compassion. Because of Bee, we got to say a calm, peaceful goodbye and he was calm and comfortable throughout. This has been truly devastating for us as a family but our experience has actually been lovely and we are so grateful to Bee and Jordan for helping us give him the send off he deserved. It is never a nice decision having to choose who to trust to put your pet to sleep but we are so glad we chose Bee and Jordan! From the moment I messaged with questions when our dog was having some bad days Jordan was so kind and understanding. Then when the day came Bee was so lovely, calm and kind. The time and space she gave us was something we definitely would not have had at a clinic. Our Ollie had such a peaceful send off in his own home and was not anxious, worried or stressed and that is down to Bee’s calm nature and for doing the job she does! Thank you so much to both of you for everything ❤️ Picture of our little Ollie the first day we brought him home from the rescue shelter 🐾🌈Load more
