Home Euthanasia Services For a Peaceful Farewell
Firstly, let me tell you how sorry I am that you’re here and have to make this decision. Saying goodbye to a beloved dog or cat is one of the most heartbreaking moments we have to face. This is because the bonds we have with our furry friends are so strong that the idea of losing them can be too much to bear.
However, when they become older, or when illnesses or injuries take their toll, you can see their quality of life start to decline. Once this happens, offering them a peaceful way to say goodbye is the greatest act of love you can give them.
This is where home euthanasia services like ours at The Loving Vet can come in. We’re a mobile pet euthanasia service based in Newton-le-Willows covering the North West and surrounding areas such as Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Warrington and Leeds. We offer a warm alternative to the cold setting of a clinic.
Understanding Home Euthanasia
Offering the most empathy for pets and their families is at the core of my services, as I fully understand how vital comfort is at a vulnerable time like this. So, by choosing my service, I can put your dog to sleep at home or provide at-home cat euthanasia so they can spend their final moments in a familiar, peaceful setting with loved ones surrounding them. They also won’t have the stress of travelling or being in a place which is distressing to them.
The Procedure of My Service Which Offers You a Gentle Goodbye
As a qualified veterinary surgeon (listed in the RCVS register as Benite Oddy), I have the utmost care and respect for your pet’s comfort at the forefront of my mind during the procedure. I will begin by dispensing a sedative to your pet to make sure they’re relaxed and feeling no pain. This ensures there’s a peaceful transition before the final euthanasia solution is gently provided. As I am taking these steps, I will provide support and reassurance to everyone present to make sure that the serene passing of your pet is dignified.
Why Familiar Surroundings Are Vital
The importance of this can’t be overstated, as pets are very sensitive to their environment. So, making sure their final moments take place in the comfort of their home, where they feel safe and happy, gives them a real sense of security. It also makes it possible for all of the family and loved ones to be on hand to provide comfort and get the same in return. This shared experience can offer a very real form of comfort and closure to everyone present.
Providing The Right Support For Every Owner
My service goes beyond just taking physical care of your pet. I recognise the deep emotional impact that this scenario has on people, and in turn, I will offer care that is right for each and every household, who all have their own personal grief. I can offer guidance on coping mechanisms, ways you can memorialise your pet, and anything else to make the process easier.
A Tribute That Lasts
Opting for my at-home pet euthanasia service also gives you the chance to create a touching tribute to your little loved one. Often, families like to hold a small ceremony that reflects on their pet’s life and the memories they shared with them. This can be a way to console your feelings for them and celebrate the joy they brought to your life.

It gives you the chance to part with them in a loving place surrounded by the people who care the most for them and gives them and you the most dignified farewell.
By going down this path at the end of the final chapter of their life, you can grant them a gentle passage. One where they can not feel any fear or pain and can part ways with you while being surrounded by the people they cherish the most. It’s a profound gift of peace that reflects the depth of your bond and the unwavering love you’ve shared.

The minute Bee walked through the door I burst out crying because I could see how caring and compassionate she was right at the start. She made a very upsetting and difficult time better and monte our cat passed away peacefully in his own home and for that im so grateful and glad it was Bee who came. She treated monte with such dignity and even after he left us, she honestly was amazing Jordan who I messaged initially was very kind and considerate and answered any questions I had. She even messaged a few days later to check up on me to see how I was. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thankyou so much Bee and Jordan xxPosted on Google Caitlin Baird12 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Bee and her services enough. We sadly had to use Bee’s service yesterday for our German Shepherd, Mia, and I just want to say that she was the best person for it. From the minute she arrived, she was respectful, kind & compassionate, and made us all feel at ease during this heartbreaking time. She allowed for the process to go at our pace, spoke to Mia directly in such a calming voice, and explained everything so well. She answered all of our questions, and gave us the time we needed with her before continuing each step. She encouraged us to cuddle and feed Mia throughout, and really made such a tragic moment feel so special & memorable. Bee was considerate in how she moved around Mia (who can be wary of strangers), but she respected her boundaries and waited until she was ready. I would recommend Bee to anyone who is sadly in the same position. I also want to mention Jordan, who we communicated with initially, who also answered all of our questions promptly and kept us updated. Thank you so much, again, we really appreciate you. 🌹🖤Posted on Google michael ball7 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommendedPosted on Google Jessica Cunnah6 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We first contacted Jordan (Bee’s booking assistant) a few months back just to touch base as we knew soon enough we’d have to make a tough decision. Then last week, our beautiful 12 year old rescue greyhound Dexter had a small suspected stroke - no suffering but clearly deteriorating so we contacted Jordan and booked in with Bee the same day. We wouldn’t have changed a single thing, we were able to give him a loving, calm day full of joy and treats. Then Bee arrived, professional and full of empathy - we knew we were in good hands. She explained the process and Dex didn’t notice anything (he was incredibly scared of vets) but he ate two large chicken breasts and after his final mouthful, drifted peacefully to sleep. The process was almost beautiful, the time and love we were able to give him - we didn’t feel rushed at all. Bee was everything we’d hoped for and it was a privilege to be able to give him the send off he deserved.Posted on Google Nicole Beauvale5 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot thank Bee enough for giving our beautiful boy, Cairo, the peaceful goodbye he truly deserved. Saying goodbye to your best friend is the hardest decision you’ll ever have to make, but from the moment Bee arrived, she made one of the most heartbreaking days of our lives feel calm, gentle and filled with compassion. She treated Cairo with so much dignity, kindness and respect, and she gave us all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes in the comfort of our own home. Nothing felt rushed. Bee explained everything with such warmth and empathy, allowing Cairo to leave this world peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved him most and eating his favourite snacks. It was exactly what we had hoped for him. We will forever be grateful that Cairo’s final moments were spent at home, in familiar surroundings, with someone who genuinely cared. Bee gave our boy the most beautiful send-off, and for that we can never thank her enough. If you’re ever faced with making this impossible decision, I cannot recommend The Loving Vet highly enough. Bee is truly an extraordinary person, and we will always be grateful for the kindness she showed our family and our beloved Cairo. Thank you, Bee, for helping us say goodbye to our best friend with so much love and dignity. It was a hard enough time having to make contact when I knew I had to make the heart-breaking decision to have my baby put to sleep. From the initial contact with Jordan to when Bee came around they made it effortless and with so much care and respect throughout the whole process , even to the aftercare. All I can say is Thank You....Posted on Google Beverley Astbury1 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend the Loving Vet. Bea was so kind and informed us about each step. Saying goodbye is difficult but this task was done in a respectful and compassionate way. Our wee Toffee was 19yrs and 4months old, the oldest dog Bea had helped over the rainbow bridge. Time was given for us to say goodbye and my husband placed our baby girl in a beautiful wicker basket then carried her out to Bea’s car where a beautiful decorated boot awaited. Bea said she would take care of Toffee and drop her off at the Crematorium where I was able to pick up her ashes a few days later. I would like to thank Bea for the excellent service we received.Posted on Google Hailey Stanley1 July 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
