Services And Cost

It is very important to me to keep costs as low as I can to ensure that my at-home pet put to sleep service is accessible to as many pet owners as possible. I do not differentiate between dog sizes or weights. Having owned giant breeds all my life, I can relate to constantly having to pay the higher end of the scale. Therefore, I would like to alleviate that from being your final memory for your pet. So, we have no increased charges for giant breeds. You will pay the same rate for at-home dog euthanasia as for any other breeds. The same applies to our cremation services.

Put dog to sleep (euthanasia) and communal cremation – £265 (including a sedation formulated for your dog’s needs)

Put cat to sleep (euthanasia) and communal cremation – £215 (including a sedation formulated for your cat’s needs)

(please allow £125 supplementation if an oral sedative is likely to be required, otherwise this will be charged at the appointment. This is for both my safety and the comfort of your pet and family. This not only covers the cost of the extra medication but also the extra time for it to take effect while I sit in my car to allow your dog time and space with you to calm.)

Prices listed include a communal cremation.

Travel Surcharge – Additional travel costs may occur for locations outside of one hour from Darwen BB3. Please contact me for a price for your location.

Private Cremation (Your pet’s ashes returned to you)

Private cremations are available and subject to a £150 surcharge.

This is to cover the additional costs incurred at the crematorium and the time and fuel it takes for me to ensure your pet’s ashes are delivered safely back to you.

Return Choices

The price for individual cremation includes the return of your pets ashes in a scatter box. I choose this option to keep costs low and my services accessible to as many as possible. If you would like to upgrade from this standard scatterbox there are a few casket choices you can select from. You can browse these on the return choices page and let us know when you book which one you would like your ashes returned in.

Ashes Delivery

To be able to offer my low cost service I only have a delivery driver for your pet’s ashes one day a week. Depending on which day your pet passes away their ashes will be returned to you within 3-10 days. You are more than welcome to collect your pet’s ashes from Leyland pet crematorium if you wish to have them back sooner. Details can be discussed further with me.

Payment

Full Payment is to be made at the time of booking. 100% refunds are given for cancellations made before 24 hours of your booking time. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking are charged at £100.

Due to being out long days, I have a personal assistant who manages my diary. He is available to answer messages and relay anything necessary back to me.
